Safe Excavation in Laguna Niguel
On a routine foundation job in Laguna Niguel, Saber Geotechnical Construction Solutions' crew members uncovered an interesting (and heavy) find.
The homeowner, who needed piering services for his foundation, told the production crew that it was rumored that the previous homeowner had a safe buried underneath their property and if they found it, it was theirs to haul away. After some time on the job, it was clear that something was buried underneath the floor.
Eager to see what was inside, the team added carefully exhuming the safe to their diligent work on the property. Anticipation built as the dirt and cement covered container became visible, in by inch.
Many of the crew members, both on site, and on the road were kept advised of its progress and eagerly awaited it's arrival at the Saber office at the end of the day. After hauling the heavy safe out of the ground, members of Saber's production crew safely set it aside to await transport.
Upon further inspection, the safe was found to be filled wtih concrete, whether it was by the former owner, or some other party, we'll never know. The safe now resides a Saber's HQ, pending any future plans to chisel through the concrete to see if anything was left inside...
