Supportworks & Thrasher Training with Saber in July

In order to give homeowners, the best customer and foundation repair services in the Southern California region, our staff is consistently training and learning about the newest repair methods and services in the industry. Saber's Production and Sales departments not only meet weekly to discuss projects, new products, and ways to better serve customers in areas including Templeton, CA. , Oceano, CA. , and San Miguel, Ca., but they also meet annually with Supportworks managers to better hone their skills. On July 18th, both Supportworks, our supplier, and Thrasher, a fellow dealer in Omaha, NE., sent representatives from their Production and Sales teams for a training event with the Saber team.

The training session began with introductions and background on Thrasher and Supportworks for those new to the network and Saber. Saber's mindset and beliefs, though unique to the company, stem from the overall Supportworks dealer network mission of redefining the contracting and construction industries through relationships with customers, employees, and fellow dealers across North America.

Saber holds their mission and core values as guiding forces behind the Wow customer services they provide. The mention and description of the following core beliefs during training both were to benefit the new hires and to provide a review for staff on what Saber stands for and that the company not only produces solutions for foundation issues but they fix them permanently the first time.

When something is broken you should fix it now, or as soon as possible.

We believe that when fixing things, you should fix it right the first time instead of reoccurring patches.

Communication is Key

Having an issue with the foundation of a home, whether newly purchased or not, is a stressful situation for any homeowner. From budgeting and financing a fix to making sure that the solution offered is the right one for their home, a homeowner's mind is going a mile a minute. The July training included a focus on conducting a smooth inspection with the customer on each appointment.

Customer communication is key to establishing trust and transparency on Saber's dedication to providing the correct solution for each property's unique issue or problem. The training included role play with potential 'customers' involving both departments, each sharing common questions, and concerns.

 

A Hands-On Approach

The training turned technical with a hands-on approach involving both hydraulic push and helical piers. Technical information on helical drive heads was also covered. It was important that the Sales team had the opportunity to learn more about the products they recommend to their customers. Further training was done with both departments on Saber's PolyLevel foam concrete leveling product, including product knowledge, installation, troubleshooting, and concrete protection.
