Saber Restores Main Street Access with Polylevel in Fountain Valley
Saber, a leading provider of foundation repair solutions in Southern California, has successfully completed a groundbreaking project in collaboration with the city of Fountain Valley. The project took place at the intersection of Ellis Avenue and Newland Street, where the community had been facing concerns due to a lane being out of commission for nearly a year.
Instead of the traditional, expensive and time-consuming 10-foot excavation method, Saber implemented the Polylevel system. This cost-effective and sustainable solution repairs existing concrete, addressing voids caused by displaced dirt.
Saber's project timeline was an impressive four and a half days, a fraction of the potential four-week duration with traditional methods. The Polylevel system allowed surfaces to be back in service just 30 minutes after application, showcasing the efficiency and practicality of this innovative approach.
To achieve the project's goal of soil densification at depth, Saber meticulously implemented a grid plan, drilling ports and carefully controlling injection volume.
Despite the challenges posed by the pliability of asphalt during injections, Saber's expertise ensured a successful outcome. String lines were employed to check the profile's straightness in the final stages, with a thorough survey and elevation check confirming the city's satisfaction with the completed project.
The success of Saber's innovative approach was met with praise from both commuters and city officials. The Polylevel system not only delivered visual improvements but also provided a cost-effective and impactful solution to the infrastructure challenges faced at the intersection of Ellis Avenue and Newland Street.
Saber continues to be at the forefront of revolutionizing construction practices, showcasing a commitment to sustainability and efficiency in every project.
