Push Pier System in Weldon

Weldon resident Nelson S. contacted Saber in regards to his home's concrete slab sloping and being cracked. Nelson was remodeling his home. He removed the carpet and spotted this problem. Saber's Project Design Specialist performed a complete inspection.

Sabers crew installed Push Piers to strengthen the foundation. Nelson was pleased with the result and the clean up.

Weldon resident Nelson contacted Saber regarding cracked floors he found in his home when he was renovating his home. He had removed the home's carpet and discovered this issue. Saber's Project Design Specialist completed a thorough inspection of Nelson's Home.

Our crew excavated holes around the foundation of the home. We attached Push Piers to the base of the home's foundation. These strengthened the home's foundation. Our crew then filled in the holes, tamped down the soil, and cleaned up.

Nelso was happy that the issue had been resolved.

Repairing Home During Remodeling in Bakersfield

Bakersfield resident Vikie E. contacted Saber when she was having her home remodeled. Her home was built in 1980. The carpet and padding had been removed, and there were several cracks in the home's Foundation. Saber's Project Design Specialist performed a thorough inspection of Vickie's home. Voids were found under her home Foundation. These voids had caused a large portion of the home's Foundation to sink. The weakened Foundation was now cracking. We verified that parts of the Concrete Slab had sunk as much as one inch.

Saber's crew excavated holes and trenches next to the Foundation. We then Installed Steel Beams and Push Piers, to lift and strengthen the parts of the foundation that had sunk. The the voids were filled with Polyurethane, by using Saber's State-of-the-Art Polylevel Injection Process. The attached picture shows part of this process.The entire concrete slab Foundation now had a constant elevation. Saber's crew then filled in the trenches and holes. Excavated concrete had been removed and disposed. New concrete was poured.

Vicki was happy with our work. She could now continue with the remodeling, that she had started. Vicki also had peace of mind that her home Foundation was much stronger, and much more stable.

Delano resident Mary S. contacted Saber regarding exterior wall cracks and sticking windows and doors in her home. Our Project Design Specialist performed a Free Homeowner Inspection. Mary's home had sunk two and a half inches. There was a large cracked portion of the slab, running through one of the bedrooms, causing the room to lean. Saber recommended installing Foundation Piers to the Foundation. When Pressurized, the Piers lift the Foundation back to a consistant elevation. Mary received a written 30 day quote and a copy of the inspection report.

Keen resident Beth W. contacted Saber regarding cracks forming in the walls of her home. She also noticed that the back patio was sloping. Saber's Project Design Specialist performed a Free Homeowner Inspection. Voids had formed under the patio, caused by shifting soils on the hill it was built on. This was causing the patio to sink, which in turn were causing cracks in the walls. Saber suggested Push Piers to give the Patio a consistent elevation, PolyLevel Injection to fill the Voids, and Helical Tiebacks to stabilize the Patio on the hill. Rosamond resident Maria R. contacted Saber regarding issues she was having with her home built in 2001. The Kitchen had cracks in the walls and the ceiling. The ceilings were dropping. The ground under the foundation slab was very moist according to a previous inspection that she had done by another company. That inspector told Maria there was "serious damage" and sent a report to her homeowners insurance. Her homeowners insurance denied her claim, saying that the house was "still settling." Maria wanted a second report to submit to the homeowners insurance. Our Project Design Specialist inspected Maria's home. Voids had formed under the Foundation due to shifting soils. We recommended installing Push Piers to the base of the Foundation. This would lift the sunken foundation when pressurized. We also recommended filling the voids. Maria was given a copy of Saber's Inspection Report and our quote, which is valid for 30 days, to submit to her homeowners insurance company.

Voids were discovered and Drainage was also a issue. Saber suggested installing proper drainage in Mike's Yard. Then we could install Foundation Piers to Lift and Strengthen the home's Foundation. Last of all, we could fill the voids with Polyurethane to Stabilize Mike's home. Mike received a written copy of Saber's Home Inspection Report.

Preparing a Solid Foundation For Bridges in Wasco

The Wasco Water District had old bridges, that were failing. A contractor was hired for the project of building two new vehicle, and one pedestrian bridge crossing these irrigation canals. The contractor contacted Saber to anchor these bridges into the soils. Trenches had already been dug, and framed. Helical Piers approximately 30 feet long were drilled and torqued into the earth. Then 8" x 8" plates were attached to the top of the Piers. The attached picture shows three Piers that have been installed on the right side. Later, another contractor would attach larger plates to the plates Saber installed. Then concrete would be poured into the forms. Saber's preparation work insures that the finished bridge will be solid for several years.

Concrete Issues in California City

California City resident Sharon C. contacted Saber regarding concrete cracking on the Front porch of her home. Our Project Design Specialist performed a Free Homeowner Inspection. There was a obvious hole in the concrete on the front porch. Voids had formed under the concrete porch. The concrete was sinking and breaking. Saber suggested filling these voids with Polyurethane. Lebec resident Thomas T. contacted Saber regarding cracked concrete leading up to his industrial garage. Saber's Project Design Specialist performed a thorough Inspection of this building. The Voids were also under the building's Foundation also. The Foundation, and areas of the outside of the building were sinking. Saber recommended Foundation Piers to Lift the Foundation back to a Consistent elevation. We also recommended that the voids be filled with Polyurethane. These suggestions would strengthen and stabilize the concrete foundation and outside concrete areas. Thomas received a written copy of Saber's Building Inspection Report.

Settling Foundation in Shafter

Shafter resident Shane E. contacted Saber regarding cracks in the exterior walls of his home. He also told Saber that the windows and doors in his home were sticking. The attached picture shows one of the sticking doors. Saber's Project Design Specialist conducted a Free Homeowner Inspection. The Foundation of Sanes home was settling. The shifting soils has caused the Foundation to weaken, and subsequently sink. Saber recommended that push Piers be attached to the base of Shane's home Foundation. Saber would pressurize these piers, and lift the Foundation back to it's Consistent Elevation.

Taft resident Tina S. Contacted Saber regarding cracks in the walls of her home. Saber's Project Design Specialist performed a thorough Inspection, which is free to all Homeowners. Voids were discovered under the Foundation. Areas of the Foundation were sinking into these Voids. 

Saber's Crew Attached Push Piers to the Foundation, and Pressurized them. This Lifted the Areas that were sinking, and gave the Foundation a Consistent Elevation. Then we Filled the Voids with Polyurethane to Stabilize the Foundation.

Seismic Retrofitting Manufactured home In Bakersfield, CA

Homeowners Rosa and Elena C in Bakersfield, CA wanted to get their home foundation repaired. They needed their manufactured home leveled and fix the cracked in caused in the back of their home. The 1989 home that they bought 5 years ago began this problem around 6 months ago and the couple wanted to get it fixed. Our project design specialist Eamon R. evaluated the property found that the manufactured home needed a coaching adjustment and 3 of their piers needed to be replaced. The piers needed to be replaced because not only were they rusting which can be dangerous, they also weren’t up to code standards. Bryan and his crew took on this project and completed the coach adjustment and installed 3 new piers that were up to code. Now the manufactured home is safe and level when it wasn’t before. The homeowners now have peace and mind and no longer have to worry about their home.
