Lisa L. of Green Valley Lake, California, had noticed that the floors in her home were sagging and the walls had begun to bow. The first step she took was locating a foundation company with a great reputation, to fix her issue. After doing her research she set up an appointment, with Saber, for an estimate. The findings were, sagging beams and floor joists caused by weakening of members over time.
Saber scheduled a crew to compete the work for Lisa. The crew installed galvanized adjustable steel Smart Jacks, by digging a 24x24" foundation pit, created an engineered fill, and installed a precast foundation base, and attached and adjusted the Smart Jack. The crew also needed to install new 4x6 wood grider beams for additional reinforcement to existing floor supports. This was accomplished by removing the sub floor to expose the existing beams. The home was lifted to maximum practical recovery, and the sub floor was replaced. The site was then cleaned and the project was complete.
Christian F, of Riverside, California, had noticed that the floors of his property had begun to sag. He researched the issue and found that he would need professionals to come investigate the problem. Saber was contacted, by the home owner, to come do an inspection. The Saber Sales representative, found that the property did have foundation issues and would need repairs. The findings, were that Saber would need to remove and replace posts, as well as removing high posts and pads and replace with new Smart Jacks.
Christian, knew the work must be completed to support his homes foundation, so he set up a schedule with the Saber office and crew was sent out to repair the foundation. During the repairs the crew used Simpson T-straps and Simpson framing clips to strap each of the existing wood 4x4 posts to existing wood grider beams.
The crew also installed hot dip galvanized adjustable steel Smart Jacks, this was completed by digging 24x24" foundation pits, filling the excavation with compacted crushed rock creating an engineered fill. They then install the a pre-cast foundation base, attach and adjust Smart Jacks, for proper elevation and load bearing of the supporting floors.
The work was completed and Christian is now happy knowing that his investment is secure and that the floors in the home are no longer an issue.
Homeowners in Murrieta, California were looking for a way to make their dirty musty crawlspace more energy efficient and possibly use it for added storage. They contracted Saber to take their dirty crawl space and make it a CleanSpace. With the CleanSpace encapsulation by Saber, they were able to achieve their goal.
A dirt filled crawl space adds a continuous stream of water vapor into your home, and any underground leakage lays in the crawl space slowly evaporating into the home. This home also has a block wall which in most homes, this is the easiest and cheapest material to build a foundation, however; they are also the least resistant to water and air going through them since there are so many joints in the wall. So like it or not you are breathing dirt crawlspace air. No longer for these homeowners, with the CleanSpace encapsulation system, installed by Saber, these homeowners know are breathing clean air and have a nice “clean” crawlspace to use for storage.
Homeowners in Loma Linda, California, had noticed a large crack in the slab of their foundation. After doing some research about the methods to fix the damage caused by the soil settlement below the slab, they knew that they wanted to use a company that would inject foam under the slab. The other options were thought to be too time consuming and expensive. The homeowner knew they wanted something that was light weight with a quick finish time and something that would not break the budget. The homeowners enlisted the help of Saber to repair the crack in the slab and to lift and stabilize the foundation of the home. The crew from Saber arrived promptly at the scheduled date and time and the work was completed much to the homeowners satisfaction. The crew injected PolyLEVEL™ beneath the foundation to stabilize the home and to perform a lift, once the lift was complete and the PolyLEVEL™ was cured, the crew then repaired the crack that had formed in the foundation using an epoxy injection. The homeowners were very pleased with the work competed by Saber and are happy to know that their home is now stabilized and the signs of settlement are no longer an issue.
A homeowner in Desert Hot Springs, had noticed several areas around the property that the walkways had become uneven and cause concern to the homeowner due to the fact that the uneven walkways could result in a trip hazard, which could be a hassle for the homeowner in the long run. The settlement of the slabs and walkways was mostly due to the soils located beneath the foundation, which had settled and caused voids to form in which the slabs began to sink and the walkways became compromised. The homeowner knew it was time to find a fix for the issue, before the damage became worse. The homeowner called Saber and set an appointment for a Design Specialist to come out and evaluate the property. The Design Specialist proposed that the slabs and walkways be lifted and raised using PolyLEVEL™. The homeowner was pleased with the proposal and was ready to get started on the project. The crew from Saber was scheduled to come out and repair the foundation. The crew began by coring penny sized holes in the slabs in the areas that would be lifted and stabilized. The PolyLEVEL™ was then injected into the holes and the slab began to rise and level. The whole process was rather quick and the cure time was just minutes, much less then the time it would have taken had the homeowner chosen to replace the sinking slabs.
A homeowner in Moreno Valley was experiencing tree roots lifting the concrete sections of their pool deck. Saber, after evaluation, was tasked with the removal and replacement of 4 sections of lifted concrete.
Saber removed and disposed of the exposed surface roots directly beneath the repair area and set up forms and installed #3 rebar. The concrete was then poured back and a cementatious patch was placed around the water skimmer. Bushes that directly affected the repair area were either trimmed or removed.
A resident in Hemet, CA needed help sealing and fixing cracks in their backyard pool deck. Once a project design specialist came to diagnose the problem and supply the best solution, it was determined that NexusPro would be the best way to seal the cracked concrete without having to destroy and replace any concrete.
NexusPro is a silicon based material that has 100% expansion within the gaps applied. It lasts 20 years after application and remains pliable throughout it's life. Saber's production crew was able to apply the product to cracks of various width and depth, each application having the same result, complete repair of the gap/crack.
The homeowner was very pleased with the results and the fact that his family could use the pool deck within hours of application. He enjoys the cleaner look of his pool deck and was pleased that Saber solved his problem efficiently and cleanly.
in 2013, Mrs. T, a homeowner in Perris, CA was having major settlement issues. Upon searching online, she found that Saber had the excellent reviews and track record that she was looking for in a contractor to fix her foundation issues. When the Design Specialist arrived at her home, after the office staff ensured that the complete 90 minute inspection of her home would answer any of her concerns and questions, he was able to determine the best solution.
Mrs. T's main concern were the large cracks on the walls in the middle of her home. There was significant sinking in that area, shown to her through manometer readings. It was also found that PolyLevel Injection was needed to level concrete slabs that had settled on her property.
Upon arriving to begin the homeowner's project, Saber's production crew went over her questions and concerns in regards to what she wanted the end result to accomplish. They also promised to communicate with her frequently throughout the duration of the project, keeping her abreast of progress, concerns, or changes.
The foreman was able to show Mrs. T how the piers successfully stabilized her home, particularly her fireplace area, effectively closing he cracks in her walls. Overall, Mrs. T was happy with the end result of the piering portion of her project. The PolyLevel foreman was also able to successfully and unobtrusively lift and level her driveway and patio slabs.
Saber scheduled and executed service visits over the subsequent two years, checking to be sure Saber's work was still successful and secure. On the first customer revisit, in 2015, there was proven to be no significant cracking in the walls and the manometer survey did not show any further settlement since the original survey, 2 years prior.
February 2016 saw a second proactive service call that ensured that Mrs. T's home had indeed lifted in the areas where deep injection of PolyLevel had been applied into concrete slabs and no further settlement was observed.
A home in Indian Wells, Ca. was going through renovations and needed new flooring. When the carpet and wood were removed, numerous cracks were found in the slab foundation throughout the home. Saber was called to conduct an inspection and to find the perfect solution for the cracking issue.
It was found that a 2 part structural gravity fed epoxy was the best way to effectively seal the cracks in the slabs to ensure that the cement slabs were fixed. Saber's production crew proceeded to clean each crack and prep it for the epoxy application. After the epoxy was applied and set, the edges were ground down so that the epoxy was flush with the concrete, effectively filling the cracks.
The homeowners were very pleased with the results and, after the project, were able to replace the flooring of their home and enjoy their new living space.
A Riverside, Ca. apartment community was having issues with tree roots raising concrete slabs on a few of their walkways. In many areas, the concrete had become uneven due to soil settlement over the years. The manager of maintenance at the community wanted to fix the trip hazards as soon as possible with little disruption. Some of the slabs in major traffic areas were misaligned up to 2", creating a danger for families walking to and from their homes.
Though a few of the cracked and broken slabs needed total replacement, Saber was able to come out, walk the property, and discover that they could grind down 37 areas, leveling out the concrete without having to rip out large portions of the slab. Residents were able to go about their day walking to and from their homes without major disruption.
The property maintenance manager was pleased that the project took only 2 days of dustless grinding to finish and that Saber was able to keep each grind area free from multiple types of equipment and waste. It was a hassle-free way to ensure the concrete in the community was level and free from trip hazards.

Homeowner David and Tracy N. in Temecula had a very large problem with their sidewalk in the backyard. Their 10’x12’ slab has settled because it was improperly mated with rebar to the adjoining slab with a cold seam. Because of this, the slab settled on one end in clay at approximately 1 ½ inches. They noticed the settling many years ago but never took care of the issue. Just recently Tracy tripped and luckily wasn’t injured. Not only was it unsafe, but it can bring down the value of their home and the couple is considering selling their home in the near future. Our Foreman Scott and Raymond removed the grout of the large slab by the problem section of the settling concrete. Once detached, Raymond drilled 5 dime-sized holes into the slab so that Scott can lift the concrete underneath with PolyLevel. After the slab is lifted, they then filled the holes and grout with Nexus Pro which will make sure our work is disguised as much as possible and is left seemingly untouched! David and Tracy were in love with the results! They couldn’t believe how fast and clean our process was. David said, “You guys do amazing work! The homeowner told the design specialist they lived in the home for a little more than a decade and the started noticing the cracks around four years ago. They wanted the issue fixed so the problem didn't get worse or more expensive to fix overtime.
