PolyLEVELâ„¢ in Costa Mesa
In Costa Mesa, California, Saber Foundations was contracted to fix an issue of sever concrete settlement. The settlement was most likely caused by the combined weight of the concrete and what is supporting it. The soil beneath the concrete compresses and can cause major problems. Like the ones shown in this before photo, the concrete had settled and the walls had begun to show the signs of the settlement by gapping. Saber was able to quickly and affordably fix the issue for this homeowner, by using the PolyLEVEL™ process. The PolyLEVEL™ process is a two part foam used to inject into the ground to form a fill that is strong yet light weight. This process was completed and the end result was that of closing the gaps that the concrete sinking had caused. The great thing about PolyLEVEL™ is it waterproof, it does not react with soil or water, and does not leak hazardous chemicals into the soil. It also cures very quickly, so the process is messy and disruptive, in comparison to other foundation-lifting techniques.
