Restoring Stability to a 1920s Home in Los Angeles, Ca
The homeowner had lived in her 1920s Los Angeles home for over 20 years, but shortly after moving in, she noticed problems—sticking doors, windows that wouldn't open, and bouncy floors. Over time, these issues worsened as the home’s foundation began to fail due to aging wooden posts in the crawlspace.
To restore stability, we replaced the deteriorating 4x4 wood posts with new ones, installed a metal supplemental beam, and added SmartJack® adjustable supports to lift and secure the sagging floors. These adjustments provided the reinforcement her home desperately needed.
With the new supports in place, the homeowner’s floors are now level and solid, and her doors and windows operate smoothly once again. The SmartJack® system and structural repairs ensured long-term stability, giving the homeowner peace of mind.

Encapsulation for Moist Crawl Space in Los Angeles, CA
Two years after moving into a newly remodeled home in Los Angeles, the homeowner began to notice troubling signs. In late November, a musty odor started to permeate the house, especially after rainy days. The air felt damp, raising concerns about potential mold growth and the overall health of the home. To get to the root of the issue, the homeowner called a termite inspector, suspecting there might be hidden damage. The inspector discovered elevated moisture levels in the crawlspace and advised the homeowner to have the area professionally inspected.
Following the termite inspector’s advice, the homeowner contacted Saber Foundation Repair. Upon inspection, Saber’s team confirmed the presence of moisture in the crawlspace, which could lead to mold growth and compromise the wooden support structures. Understanding the urgency, Saber proposed a crawlspace encapsulation to protect the home from ongoing moisture problems.
The results were immediate. The musty odors disappeared, and the air inside the home felt noticeably drier. With the crawlspace now properly sealed, the homeowner no longer had to worry about mold or wet wood causing further issues. Thanks to Saber Foundation Repair, the home is now protected and the homeowner can enjoy peace of mind, knowing that their investment is secure for years to come.
